Another week to give thanks to my Lord...

I am grateful for having a couple weeks off from having any scheduled medical tests; I am certainly in need of rest. I’m still trying to recover from the fall I took while trying to put out the fire a couple weeks ago.

Still no court date, I eagerly check the mail everyday awaiting papers from the court, but nothing. I believe God is teaching me patience and faith; these are two important, but very difficult lessons that I am learning.

The kids are continuing to help with selling on eBay; this has been an incredible blessing. Thank you to all of you who have provided treasures for us to sell both on eBay and in garage sales. Now is the time when things will really pick up and start selling as Christmas is right around the corner. I am going to start sharing a little more about my needs, not because I am asking for help, but instead that I want you to see how God is providing for my every need.

There was one thing that needed to be handled on Tuesday and that was our DWP bill. The water & power were set to be turned off on Wednesday morning and I didn't have a penny for the bill. The last time we received an extension I was told that I wouldn't be granted another one as my account is always late. I called and only by Gods grace we were once again granted an extension, this one is only until Oct 17th, but I believe that God will provide before then. Next week I will share with you how this very large bill gets paid, it will be a miracle.

Saturday, November 10th, my church, Granada Hills Community Church will be doing a huge garage sale for me at the church.

Please invite your friends, co-workers, neighbors, & relatives to come with you. There will be something there for everyone.

I will be at the church that day, so please stop by, if for no other reason except to say hello. Additional details will be in the next update.

I thank my Heavenly Father for His blessings, goodness and mercies. He is an Awesome God! He has not forgotten me; He knows my every pain and fear. I continue to rest in knowing that He is always with me and that I am not alone.

Some of you are very sick yourselves and going thru struggles of your own, please remember that I am holding you up in prayer!
